Ken: "Did you see the big nickel? What would you estimate that to be, about 25m? The Science Centre is a lot of fun... the landscape has been decimated by the mining industry but about 2 hours away is Killarney Provincial Park - probably my favourite place in the whole world. I learned to paddle there... Utopia, I'm convinced, is an cherry wood otter tail for use with a cedar stripped canoe. Tim Horton's coffee is terrible too, but I have to hand it to them, they've certainly created unique kind of coffee."

Can agree re Canoing Utopias. But, not on Tim H's. When I came to Canada 25 odd years ago, I spent a long time looking for the community that I was used to in pubs in the UK. But (at least in Toronto) they were missing at "pubs". However... Tim Horton's ... was the community centres I had been seeking. The coffee is OK, but you go for [Ah - guess it shoudl be I go for] over-hearing the conversations; & at different times to see the overflow from the churches; from the shpping etc; & the different locales - from rural to urban.
