I am not sure what the pount of the question is ("What's to critique?"): is it that the book is so obviously right about something -- Communism, Stalinism, socialism, Marxism, the Russian Revolution -- that it is beyond criticism? But then the ambiguity here opens a space for critique. Nothing is that transparent. I must have missed the part in AF about Truman and Attlee, btw. But it has bena while since I read the book.
