Look, leftists (or "The left" in so far as there is a coherent left) need to remember that famous sentence from _18th Brumaire_ and to recognize that it applies to us as well. We carry out our struggles on a certain terrain, a terrain _mostly_ defined by our enemy and very rarely such as to be advantageous to us. And part of what we can't control is the impact that capitalism\imperialism has on its victims (including those who want to be / are socialists etc). There will _always_ be the equivalent of the Weathermen or the Sparticists or MIM or the AFL/CIO or the lifestyle anarchists or the . . . .Get used to it. Stop whining.
