Blasts rock Buddhist temples
BANGKOK: Three bombs exploded almost simultaneously at Buddhist temples in Muslim-dominated southern Thailand, where suspected Islamic separatists staged a bloody uprising last month, a police official said. There were no reports of injuries. The bombs exploded at temples in Narathiwat province's Takbai, Ruesoh and Rangae districts, said a police official. He said police believe the bombs were made of Power Gel, a commercial plastic explosive commonly found at mining and construction sites. The explosive has been used in other recent bombings in Thailand's southern provinces.
