There is a group of people near Australia (for the life of me I can't remember their name) which believes that warrior virtues are a product of semen, and that therefore young boys should ingest as much semen as possible (it being believed that the body does not generate semen itself, but needs to obtain it from an external source). Accordingly, all males are expected to be fellators from the age of about 8 to puberty, then fellatees until they get married when they are around 20, at which point they are supposed to be purely heterosexual.
As I recollect, this belief system also involves the idea that women, who take semen from men, are something like vampires. (It also explains why women live longer than men do.)
Grant, do you remember who these people are? I'm relying on dim memories of an anthro class...
