The Israeli state oppresses Palestinians; that doesn't mean that all Jews, or THe Jews, are responsible for that brutality. Many Arab and Islamic societies oppress women (as do religious subcultures like fundamentalist Christianity and orthodox Judaism); that doesn't mean that The Arabs and a nonexistent Islamic Totality are corporately responsible.
