Well, maybe. Browsing in the financial pages a few days ago I came upon a columnist recommending IBM stock, & one of his main reasons was the money IBM was making and was going to make off of linux. I'm afraid "the community" referred to here consists mostly of large corporations (other than Microsoft, which is really a small frog in a big pool of capitalists).
