There is no point rejecting their framework when we do such an abysmal job understanding their framework in the first place. (Carrol is in denial of it's very existence, for example.) What I have in mind is reading Left Behind, listening to their radio shows, watching their alternative media, etc -- anything that helps us crawl inside their worldview. Kelley, for one, has been making some excellent points about the way "just Christians" think.

The point of getting into the other side's head is not strictly about finding common ground or aping their tactics. In large part, the point is to know what you're fighting in the first place.
