Uh, you really need to talk to a different set of friends. The show does play with some moral complexities, since you like some of the characters who sometimes do horrible things, but there's no glorification about it. They also do ordinary things, like live in suburban NJ and deal with their kids - amidst doing horrible things. No glorification about that either. It's the best-written thing I've ever seen on TV, and really funny, in a dark sorta way.
Of course, if you want to keep thinking that, you can just rely on the buzz in the air, and you don't have to watch the thing, because expecting people to be familiar with what they're talking about would make 90% of conversation impossible.
