This is what we are doing in Columbus, OH. Anyone organizing local or regional events like these?

The Movement for Peace & Justice Continues, Whoever Gets Elected!

Wednesday, November 3 5 - 6 PM Demonstration at the Federal Building 200 N. High Street, Columbus, OH End the Occupations and Bring the Troops Home

No matter who wins the presidency, the U.S. military will still be in Iraq, illegally occupying that country and wreaking misery upon its people. We need to relentlessly demand an end to the occupation -- not the war's escalation -- for the safety of both the U.S. soldiers and the Iraqi people. What better time than right after election day to remind the next president that our movement is still here, that the occupation must end, and that we will keep up the pressure until we achieve that goal?

Saturday, November 6 1:30 - 3:30 PM Peace and Justice Summit at the Northwood & High Building, 2231 N. High St, Columbus, OH Let's work out our post-election campaign strategy to end the occupations abroad and build social, economic, and political democracy at home!

Both events sponsored by Central Ohio Peace Network Contact: John Wallace, <jwallace0365 at wowway.com> or call the Community Organizing Center at 614-252-9255 -- Yoshie
