He can and I fear he will try. That has always been, in my mind, the greatest threat to working Americans that a Kerry presidency poses. Unfortunately the other option isn't any better. A Bush presidency would probably be worse. No guarantees that it would, it is possible that Bush could serve as a powerless President if the Dems win enough votes in other races but it is a slightly bigger gamble to take in my eyes.
