That old Pabloite Tariq Ali says "You have to vote against Bush, 
which means behaving politically and maturely and voting for Kerry." 
No surprise
here (not even that this "mature" politician elides the fact that
in all but a handful of states voting for Kerry has zero effect when
it comes to defeating Bush but has a real effect in diminishing
the already-much-diminished-by-ABB-hysteria left protest vote
for Badnarik-Cobb-Nader-various sects).  This is the exact same
politics that led his French cothinkers some 30 months ago to declaim
"You have to vote against Le Pen, which means behaving politically 
and maturely and voting for Chirac" (eliding the fact that Le Pen's
chances in that election were no more than Cobb's in this).
