The CIS Inter-Governmental Statistics Committee reported that Russia's trade with other CIS countries in the first half was worth $4.427 billion. Russia's exports to fellow CIS countries were worth $12.430 billion and imports from them $8.004 billion.
Ukraine posted the largest deficit in CIS-country trading at $2.999 billion for the first half. Ukraine's exports to fellow CIS countries came to $3.953 billion and its imports from them to $6.952 billion.
Belarus had a $1.7 billion trade deficit within the CIS (exports $3.254 billion, imports $4.954 billion), Kazakhstan's deficit was $805 million (exports $1.981 billion, imports $2.786 billion), Tajikistan's deficit was $365.1 million ($74.1 million, $439.2 million), Azerbaijan's was $206.6 million ($347.8 million, $554.4 million), Kyrgyzstan's was $140.2 million ($116.5 million, $256.7 million), Georgia's was $106.1 million ($157.4 million, $263.5 million), Moldova's was $104.2 million ($231.9 million, $336.1 million) and Armenia's was $71.0 million ($58.9 million, $129.9 million).
The committee did not report figures for either Uzbekistan or Turkmenistan.
