An article in slate: http://www.slate.com/id/2106287/

A snippet from Brian Leiter's blog (Brian was once a fellow classmate of Justin's):

How Bigots "Think"

Herewith right-wing pundit Mark Steyn on the recent horrors in Russia:

"[W]hat was the word missing from those three analyses of the Beslan massacre? Here's a clue: half the dead 'Chechen separatists' were not Chechens at all, but Arabs. And yet, tastefully tiptoeing round the subject, The New York Times couldn't bring itself to use the words Muslim or Islamist, for fear presumably of offending multicultural sensibilities."

And so too fascist propagandist and apologist for concentration camps --and, of course, journalist and right-wing pundit--Michelle Malkin:

"Take a look at how this front-page New York Times article describes the perpetrators of the siege in Beslan....In more than 1,750 words, the article includes not one reference to the religion of the Muslim perpetrators. Not one."

This reminds me of something: how come articles on Hollywood in The New York Times won't mention the fact that most of the powerful people in the movie industry are Jews. Seriously, you can read a whole article about Hollywood in The New York Times, and not one word about the fact that it's mostly Jews who call the shots.

Maybe because the Jews run the New York Times too?

Or maybe, just maybe, because the religion is not explanatorily relevant to anything. Maybe.
