Right. What's interesting is the effectiveness of the right wing spin machine in keeping Bush supporters loyal to the party and his candidacy. He's not a very good candidate if you look at him through conservative eyes. The more traditional conservatives have lots of problems with him, like the Buchanan wing of the movement. Bush is not a small government conservative, he's bad for civil liberties, and his imperialist agenda has put the U.S. in great peril. If it wasn't for the right wing spin machine, which relies on "evil liberals" for its power, I think you'd see lots of conservatives sitting on their hands in this election.

So the question for progressives is Which spanner do you throw into the works of the right wing media spin machine?
