>You think the last four years were bad. I guarantee four more years of
Bush will be five times worse.

Worse than what? Do you think Kerry will reverse the downward trajectory of our geopolitical, economic, and social situation? Why? He says he will "win the peace" in Iraq, but he's unwilling to talk about getting tough on Israel, and his story about getting France and Germany to help is an obvious lie. His schtick about "exporting jobs" and taxes is laughable. Who really thinks he'll be able to pass such a tax change? And what does he plan to to do about the 95 percent of the economy which is not touched by such a change? That's right: nothing. And health care? Please. He save us all "up to $1,000" by forcing insurers to use computer billing. Come on down and kick a tire or two, y'all!

> As for Kerry, he's one of the most progressive Dems ever nominated

"One of?" When was the one and only time there was a "progressive" Dem? That's right: 1932-1944. Since then, it's been all jerks, so your "one of" claim is empty.

>Many people on this list seem to want everything on their agenda or they'll
reject it all. Since I've said I disagree with Kerry's stands on a range of issues, your comments show you haven't read a word I've said.

False. I'm going to vote for Kerry, but I won't walk across the street to campaign for him unless and until he promises something worthwhile. He has not done so yet.

>What's clear is that the rightwing knows how to tell lies and get all their
ground forces to repeat it endlessly, doing great damage. And yes, it pisses me off that folks on the left side of the spectrum help them do their job by repeating the media-spun lies.

Read JK Galbraith. The RP does a better job because they actually serve their main constituency. Your pathetic party is a corporate whorehouse that peddles far more lies than does the RP.
