I think that you accused RMI of holding the position that only capitalism could find the solution to environmental problems. You, conversely, seem to hold that capitalism should not be permitted to address the problems that it has caused.

Personally, I'll advocate for global superconductor power busses to eliminate the conversion of distributed AC power into heat. I don't think that I really care how it arrives. Volunteerism is fine with me.
