I'm not even sure Moore _has_ a point, literal or otherwise. Most of that part of the movie is "statement in the form of a question" that serves mostly to be funny and to show how clever Moore is. The inadvertant humorist, apparently. I can't believe people complained about the "media" coverage of Terri Schiavo but seem fascinated by the "in depth coverage" of a few troubled kids who make headlines every now and again. I mean, get a life!

I didn't mean to deny that there are significant differences in Canada. But we've said it all before: it's likely that the set of circumstances of living in the US is unique in the world across a wide variety of issues. This is somehow proof that a few kids get inspired enough to go on a murderous rampage? The guy who was originally quoted -- Paul Bucher -- has a reasonable agenda: it's likely he can further his career by saying something so idiotic.
What's everyone else's excuse?
