I grew to like Zeynep very much when she was on the old marxism list, and I had a good deal of respect for her. Nevertheless....
I have decided that there is one quite small proportion of 6 billion people on earth that I do feel morally superior to. Anyone on lbo who agreed with Zeynep and is not spending at least 12 hours a month in organized anti-war activity is a schuck and I feel really smug about my moral superiority to him or her.

P.S. 11 hours and 50 minutes are not enough. 12 hours per month is an ansolute minimum. And it has to be in activities performed as a member of an active local group. Before you get to seriously sneer at the marines you should probably be spending at least 15 hours per month.
