Guardian reporters write:

>>Robert Zoellick is the archetypal US government insider, a man with a brilliant technical mind but zero experience of any coalface or war front. Sliding effortlessly between ivy league academia, the US treasury and corporate boardrooms (including an advisory post with the scandalous Enron), his latest position is the number-two slot at the state department.>>

Zoellick seems most likely to have made a name for himself amongst the Bushits for his pugnacious work on 'free trade'. The Guardian really has a knack for pulling all punches. When they describe a man like Zoellick as having a 'brilliant technical mind' they really ought to be called on it and asked to give at least a few examples of this piece of shit's brilliance. His visit to an abandoned area of Fallujah with armed convoys was about as chickenshit as the rest of the Bush regime; I highly doubt that he is ready to admit to the reality of what the military has done. And Fallujah might be our Guernica, except then we need some metaphors and analogies for what the Occupation did to the Shiite city of Najaf and to mixed neighborhoods of Baghdad, such as Sadr City, in order to 'quell the insurgency'. These, among many other places, are just as abandoned, devastated, and unreconstructed. Which is why all Iraqis but the Occupation camp followers want the occupation gone now.
