FACTBOX-Chinese IPOs on Nasdaq this year

HONG KONG, Aug 4 (Reuters) - The first Chinese companies to list on Nasdaq were Internet portals Sina.com, NetEase.com Inc. and Sohu.com, which made their debuts in 2000.
About 20 mainland Chinse firms are listed on the technology-heavy U.S. bourse, and more are in the pipeline.
Earlier this yera, the Nasdaq Stock Market Inc. said it expected as many as 20 Chinese IPOs this year, although just three have completed their deals thus far, raising a combined $383.62 million.
Several disappointing debuts from Chinese firms around late 2004 soured sentiment towards Nasdaq listings from China.
Market watchers expect more offerings after the popular search engine firm Baidu.com Inc.'s listing on Friday.
