Well OF COURSE Walter Duranty was a stooge of Stalin's - he was a reporter for the New York Times! Which is one of the main levers of liberalism(/socialism/communism) in the United States. The New York Times and Stalin were trying to cover this up, only Goebbels was uncovering the truth.
