Well, I must admit that V.I. is remarkably well preserved considering his age, so if for some reason he was against the swift imposition of socialized medicine, I'll defer to him as the healthcare expert.

I don't think socialism is a panacea, just a big improvement over the plutocratic mess we have now. I don't see how it insults the IQ of the working class to suggest that they would live healthier, happier lives of greater material and personal security if they lived in a society like Finland's.
