The cost of transporting, housing, and feeding these folks – who are mostly underemployed and in school – has drained the coffers of IVAW down to an alarming level. IVAW feels that its support of the Camp Casey protest is absolutely essential, so they are not complaining about the necessary expenditures. They just need help putting their financial house back in order so they can participate in the Bus Tour that will culminate on September 24th in Washington DC, an d continue after that in their recruitment of more Iraq veterans and supporting public education and counter-recruitment activities.
Please send whatever you can as soon as possible to:
IVAW P.O. Box 8296 Philadelphia, PA 19101
And please circulate this appeal as widely and quickly as possible.
Thanks.
