Not exactly. With enough objective study, even GM cropping might make sense.
I do say that traditional techniques have been undervalued and constrained by social,
economic, and political factors; that people must take into account the problems
associated with giant hog farms or the other forms of pollution associated with large
farms; that traditional farming does a better job of providing employment in
countries with excessive unemployment ....
