To paraphrase Zizek on why Slovenians were so outraged by the band Laibach: they reveal the hidden underside of something, which makes it scadalous. In Laibach's case, it was the fascist/Stalinist aspects of Slovenian nationalism; in Hustler's case, it's being so out patriarchal?
