>So, in other words, you concur with Churchill: If the U.S. working

You surpass Bill O'Reilly and Daniel Pipes (who at least admit that Professor Shahid Alam "hasn't gone as far as Ward Churchill at Colorado University by saying the people killed -- the Americans -- killed on 9/11 deserved their death" at <http://www.newshounds.us/2005/02/04/academia_under_fire_bill_oreilly_strikes_again.php>) in your capacity for slander. I demand retraction and apology from you.

If we don't succeed in US imperialism, we -- including myself -- may get blown up, despite the fact that I have always opposed it. Why? Because we "deserve" to get blown up? No. Because those who wish to retaliate against US imperialism may have as little use for laws of war, humanitarian laws, the Geneva Conventions, and so on as Washington has. Stopping US imperialism is not only our moral and political obligation -- our very survival is at stake.

The same goes for class struggle, struggle to slow down pollution, and so on. If we don't succeed, we may die of our failure -- not because we deserve to, but simply as a result of our defeat. Defeats have consequences. -- Yoshie
