I think as long as we do not have organizational ties with someone who affirms the political relevancy and truth of Churchill's text, we ought to pretty much abide by a point you made in your earlier post: "we shouldn't have to issue constant disclaimers about whatever aspect of his ideas we may not like." I'm not going to defend Churchill's argument, but neither am I going to apologize for it or wring my hands over how he disgraces the left et cetera. A left that can't take worse associations than that isn't very tough to begin with.
I've even decided to let my 35-year grudge against the Weather people subside into silence. Leftists should not spend their time being apologetic.
