-I dont understand Nathan's argument. You agree that we -should defend civil liberties, but you seem to -disagree with the focus on Lynn Stewart. On this -point, I agree with Yoshie. It is normal that people -would tend to focus on the Lynn Stewart case, given -the press coverage it has been given.

But the Stewart case has gotten a lot of press coverage because the left has rallied around the issue and deployed its resources to make it a media issue. My complaint is that they have failed to do the exact same thing for other cases which would have a far more sympathetic set of facts and being legally more compelling.
