Reagan cut tens of thousands off SSDI in the 80s using an arbitary 
review process to boot them off, saying they were no longer 
"disabled."  Many died.  He killed them - they were disposable.  What 
stoped the reviews was a legal aid lawyer out here in LA whom I know 
and you might know of her, Elena Ackel.  She sought an injunction and 
got it from a judge in this area.
