Ian, could you expand on this a bit for those of us who aren't deeply read (and who don't intend or have the time to become deeply read) in this material. Of all this exchanbe between you and Michael the only part I've particularly followed is one phrase, "rat. choice approach." That that won't explain anything is clear to me personally, but I'd like to know a bit more about the debates you refer to.
