What he means by "Soviet ideology" is *Stalinist* ideology, nothing else. The November revolution (whose leadership Doss has called "full of shit") was based on the perspective of international revolution, and none (except for the undiscovered Okhranik[s] in their apparatus) of the Bolsheviks--most emphatically including the "Left" faction that joined the "Russian peasant populist" Left-Socialist-Revolutionary Party in calling for "revolutionary war" in February 1918--regarded "Russian peasant populist" ideology with anything but abhorrence.
