He writes the eXile's book reviews. I met him very briefly in Moscow while I was working with his wife. He (I think) taught Taibbi when he was at Berkeley. He spent some time teaching at a university in New Zealand, where he got involved with the eXile and translated Eduard Limonov's book Diary of a Scoundrel from Russian (which I have posted sections of her before as a good description of daily life in the USSR). I think he's in Moscow or Canada, not sure which, at present -- I lost contact with Mrs. Dolan a year or so ago.
