Chuck, you deserve a chapter in Hofstadter's, "Anti-Intellectualism in American History."

Naunces? How about nuances?

Kelley a few yrs. ago had a great post on Social Movement lit. by sociologists, many who had left social movement backgrounds. You haven't read any of it. If memory serves ythis was one she cited, Doug McAdam, "Political Process and the Development of Black Insurgency, 1930-1970." Will you ever read any of it? Nah. Though earlier, a few weeks ago, claiming your activist cred, over decades, you said, "Of coarse, I have, " w/ nada cites. http://www.google.com/search?q=social+movements+bibliography http://www.publiceye.org/study_right.html#online Basic Sociology of Social Movements Some Sociological Sense by Dan Brook An introduction to basic sociological concepts
