As it turns out, Sol's book has not been translated, so my recommendation cannot be carried out for non-Russophones.. Pizdets. Unfuckingbelievable. Nothing gets translated these days. If Alexander fucking Solzhenitsyn can't get translated, can you imagine how little of what is going on in Russia, as viewed by Russians, actually makes it into the Angloverse?
Reminds me of a Russian political scientist I spoke with who was trying to get published in the States and was told he only had a chance if he wrote something that "frightened Americans."
