And anyone who has been watching this story will know that, after the 7th 
July, accurate statements of fact came from police in the US, France and 
Israel, contradicting the story given at that time by the London police. 

Many commentators have surmised that, whilst in London innaccurate stories 
were spun to keep other members of the bombing team in play, police forces 
that the facts had been given to had too many leaks. 

The sources on this are innumerable - so I'm not going to list them.  If Joe 
read the London press he would know what is going on.  He would not have to 
make it up.
