There is was in interesting long profile of the Plame prosecutor in the weekend FT, apropos the long criminal complaint he just handed in against Chicago's Mayor Daley, and the impending trial of (Republican) ex-Governor Ryan:

It reconfirms what Justin has been saying all along: the only criticism anyone has ever made of this guy is that he might be too zealous, and that his definition of crimes might be too "amorphous and wide ranging."

He certainly does does not seem like someone who would allow his quarry to escape on a technicality. And he has shown an incredible ability to burn up through the chain of command. The scandal that brought down Governor Ryan -- a Republican -- started out with low-level employees selling drivers' licenses. It took him five years, but he followed it all the way up to the governor. And now he's starting much closer to the top.
