In other words, if God is so smart (in designing us in His image), why are we so imperfect?

^^^^ CB: The key to irreligious criticism is: Humans make God. God doesn't make humans.

The "intelligent" design of God is due to the fact that we make God in _our_ own image, the inverse of the famous passage from the Bible.

Intelligent design is the conceit that only a "Big Human" could make something so intelligible to humans.
