It isn't getting a lot of coverage, maybe a sentence or two at the end of match reviews. I had been afraid that the confrontation between protestors and Israeli fans would have been blown out of proportion but I guess the media decided it was better just to ignore the whole thing.

There was somewhere around 500 people on the march. The Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign had asked for people to bring Palestinian flags to the game, but not many did, possibly because the rumour had been floated that they would be confiscated at the gates. This turned out not to be correct. A friend of mine who'd stood up at the front of his section to wave his flag was told by a steward to go back to his seat, but as he did so, the steward gave him a thumbs up.
