The reason given for his firing was that he was pilfering files from the station manager's office - files that reportedly concerned him. But he'd been squabbling with station management for a while; according to one report several months ago, he was pulled off the morning show for playing "too much white music." Morale at WBAI is quite low, for this and many other reasons.
