Research? How much money does it take to look up the addresses of the Family Research Council and the American Family Association? You can do that using the web in less than two minutes.

What progressives need to do is fight back using all means necessary. The AFA should be brought down first, as it spearheads most of this culutre war stuff. I've been attacked by the AFA, which went so far as to use a covert "reporter" to interview me using a false name and who subsequently attended my ALA panel on pornography in libraries. The AFA mobilized its members to write over 500 letters of outrage to ALA about my session. Of course, I'm flattered by the attention, but this shows how broadly the AFA is willing to fight the culture wars. The AFA is also actively engaged in buying up radio licenses in order to set up robot repeater stations all around the country.

We need to fight back against these religious fascists. If activism and direct action isn't your thing, at least respond to their boycotts with messages sent to these corporations.
