*grin* you shoulda kept reading. my next paragraph starts with the sentence: "Sonshine calls cops."

Sonshine actually led him right into a speed trap where he knew at least one sizzlean would be waiting. Fortunately, there were many more since there were about 5 cops there and around the area, on the lookout for the guy -- who'd been called in not just by sonshine but by other drivers.

It's illegal to brandish a gun. To just show a gun, like pull your jacket back to reveal you're carrying (at least in some states) is considered brandishing. Actually pointing a gun at someone is usually an even bigger crime. If he's not licensed to carry, he's way bad off. This is a CCW state, though, so who knows.

Sonshine's a bit shaken up -- thought he was going to die, first because he really thought the guy would shoot him, but also because he really thought the guy was going to run him off the road.

Not even 18 yet and he's seen two near-death traffic incidents. Nice! As Bill said, though, get it out of the system early.
