That's a scary thought - someone in the church pulls out a weapon and blasting away, someone else pulls out a weapon. Someone else sees the second person with the weapon and mistakes him for the original shooter, then before you know it, every man and his dog has a weapon in his hand and nobody knows what the hell is going on. There's a panic, guns are going off everywhere, people are dropping like flies. The cops arrive, a river of blood is flowing out the church door, they hear a gunfight inside between the survivors and rain bullets into the church. The churchgoers return fire...
Yeah, great idea, let everyone carry concealed guns. That will make us safer.
