The most wonderfully designed place I've ever been in was my grandmother's apartment on East 46th St. in Manhattan. I think it was closer to 400 sq. ft. It was on the 11th floor, its outside wall was nearly all glass, basicly an L shaped space wrapped around the bathroom, with the kitchen adjoining the bathroom wall, without a separate bedroom. My grandmother folded out a couch for her bed and I used another couch. Felt wonderfully spacious and is a design I've been considering for myself when I get out of here.
