Hi,

Easy to make fun of the premise, but there really is a neofascist wing of the environmental movement.

Check out some of the links on this page from PRA: http://www.publiceye.org/sucker_punch/Right-Wing_Populism.htm

ah, guilt by association, innuendo and just plain old leaps of logic. i am from a developing country where there is an environmental movement, and there is a population control movement (initiated among others by the socialist govt), and they are not the same. the latter could be wrong in their assumptions, and perhaps even the former (the environmentalist) -- of course one could not wring such an admission of uncertainty from the *real* leftists. but hey, why deal with the subtleties of these issues, when we can promote infighting with the left? you call me a malthusian. i'll call you a stalinist. fun!
