But doesn't there also have to be a hierarchy of more than one participant as well? If you own and work your own capital eg are the sole worker and owner of your business, there's no hierarchy within the business and hence no capitalistic relationship, right? (Even if you/your business is imbedded in the broader relationships of capitalism itself.)

PS: Max, I'm a bit surprised at your referring to your computer in that way.

I recall a little piece you did on your blog about laying to rest that fallacy about socialism (or communism; I don't remember off hand which you were talking about), that it would involve people losing their stereos, cars, computers, etc. Or are you using "capital" in a somewhat different manner here?
