I think we need a dual approach - Chip engaging, Chuck insulting. (By the way, I just learned in a story in today's NYT about moving the Munson Diner to the Catskills that "Munson" is an Irish word for "monk" or "man of the cloth.") I.e., engage with Chip or you'll have to deal with Chuck. Kind of like the dialectic of revolution & reform.
