In regard to the [drugwar] list: Unfortunately, either the software for the list doesn't archive, or Preston has it turned off for privacy reasons. Preston Peet, the list owner, is an associate editor at High Times magazine.

There's quite a cross section of "dopers" on the list...from some that I believe are what Lenny Bruce called "bust out junkies", to regular press releases from NORML-CN.
Lots of interest in the neocon Plan (for) Columbia. Doug might even find the *other* sections of the prostitute population, the "unhappy" hookers, but it still wouldn't be a full cross section... because they are all at an economic level where a computer is not a burden on the budget.
