[lbo-talk] The epistemology of "political credibility"

Small point:

If access to abortion is good, that must involve a recognition that the abortions that will result must at least in some instances be good (or better than the alternatives). If abortion could never be good, why make it accessible?

Does anyone else find it ironic that the Republican right, while strenuously opposed to abortion, are the biggest advertisement for it? Or perhaps that's just tautology.
