We just had an election with the broadest mass participation in the Democrats in modern history and you throw out this comment with no contrary evidence? Come on-- this isn't analysis, it's just rhetoric. What's interesting is how incredibly irrelevent "the left" has become compared to the rise of militant Democrats who are far more vocal and active these days.
